Along with your attendance, ad sponsorships help to cover costs associated with the annual banquet, and also have attendees appreciate the businesses that have sponsored for a cause that speaks volumes for each of us -- for every Muslim living in America, for this generation and the generations ahead by helping change the narrative using the media so Islam is shown in a positive light, whether through billboard campaigns, radio interviews, or through GainPeace projects making prime time headlines in the news.
We had 2 amazing billboards that were launched in the past 3 months. The 'Jesus in Quran and Muhammad in Bible' billboard is currently up on 294 Northbound few miles before the O'hare oasis at this time. In the times we are living in today, people are hungry to find out what the Islam that media and the administration have been bashing truly is --- as a result, shahadas have gone up increasingly. There is a need to get literature packages out to the new Muslim brothers and sisters along with continuous programs to support their interest and not to change back from Islam -- sponsorships and contributions are a huge way to help be a part of their journey to Islam. Open Mosque Days or Mosque Open Houses are another way to spread the message of our Deen to people of other faiths. Masajid across the subcontinent have been requesting Dr. Sabeel's presence to help, especially during Q&A. Alhamdulillah, he travels with no boundaries to help spread the message of our deen.
